Buyers Information Tip
 Home Owner Furnace Filter Maintenance
If you don't change or clean your filter often enough the filter can get clogged, forcing your furnace to work harder to maintain airflow. This will reduce your furnace's efficiency and can cause damage. We recommend changing a standard  furnace filter every two to three months to keep the air clean and the furnace functional. There are many different type filter and some filters only have to be changed every six months and some will only have to be changed once a year. Check the owner's manual as to what type of filter is required and how often it has to be changed. Changing the furnace filter is very important maintenance function to keep good air quality in the home. Changing the filter becomes extremely important if some one in the family has asthma. If someone in the family has asthma you may want to invest in an up grade filter for better filtering efficiency.
NOTE - changing a filter is an easy job that most home owners can handle. Remove the present filter from the furnace and get the exact size off the old filter and buy the exact size. With the exact size the filter should fit in the filter section without a problem.
